i thought SMRT already has such a campaign? They started it late last month. Most of their buses have posters which seem rude as it says "Move to the rear PL...

i didn't said that i am so noble to take a reverse bus to get back, if i am at the back of the bus, i will move toward the door slightly b4 the bus stopped. furhermore, how far behind can u be in a bus, at most is 1.5m from the back of the bus, u telling me that u take 2 mins to get to the door???
how far away can a bell be that u can't even reach it, i was in a very crowded bus whereby every step i move, there are two persons blocking the way, the bus driver will take into consideration that the bus is crowded hence won't move off so fast.
be reasonable, be considerate!!
everyone will then said that they r getting off soon, how soon is soon? one bus stop two bus stop or three??? everyone oso want to give way like u do, as long as they r the one who moved inside, but have u spare a thought about others?
if u think u r considerate n u can live with it, then don't complain when others don't move in n leave u stranded at the bus stop becos everyone on the bus think like u do!!

Sorry if i talk too much on how many minutes and make u confused, i didnt mean it take 2 minutes to go to the back, I mean i go the the back, stand there for 2 minutes only, then i have to go back to the exit again through the crowds.

But i can assured you if i am not getting off next 3stops, i will sure move to the back.

Let me ask everyone, if your stop is next stop, will you really take the trouble to go all the way behind and squeeze through crowds later???

My case opposite, not long ago I took SBS824R on 74 (ARBP 16) at Buona Vista MRT. Bus still empty then. I sat somewhere between front & rear door. But as the bus passed ACJC and ACS(I), all those students boarded. When I alighted at Dover MRT, I nearly coudn't get out. Luckily I did, but has to squeeze, of course. This shows that: Move to rear, cannot get out. Sit/stand between front and rear door, bus becomes packed, also cannot get out.

then again i dun find HK youngsters do this on HK buses. why is this problem so prevalent in SG?

well i admit i hang around the rear door if the bus is already crowded. its to ensure that you do get off the bus. i mean u push n shove ur way to the rear then...

'Chotto! my stop is next! bacca le des i am. " aaaah hve to shove back to rear exit.

that is what the standing area is for in buses. this space is for those who want to alight soon stand there. but again if ur trip is long why not move the rear? even if theres a step to the rear deck? Don't stand at that space.

sometimes i got long trip on crowded one. i always move rear coz sure get seat. u stand there leg not tired ah?

(situation: next stop is MRT. every tom dick harry boarded two stops b4)

Ok we find standing area is full. nowhere to stand. but maybe u know that next stop stop is MRT one and many ppl will alight and surely if u move behind, u allow the load of ppl to get off bus then u patiently wait ur turn then get off? wouldn't that be good?

u say u rushing for time? then that one means every bleeding singaporean is rushing for time n so hang near the rear door and block the passage of pax entering bus.

sometimes we need to take it easy. no need so gan cheong....

there are many other situations i cn think of. but theres no fear if u moved to the rear n get stuck tehre. its always the case everyone wants to light at the MRT stop...

i wasn't confused. u said that if u r at the back of the bus, the bus may move off b4 u can alight, so i saying that u can't possibly take more than 2 mins
to get from the back of the bus to the door to alight right?? so how could the bus have close the door n move on by then???

if u r going to alight the next stop, i won't say that u r unreasonable for standing near the door.

but if u r not going to alight the next stop n u see that the bus is getting full, u should move to the back so that others can board, just remember this words "ji shuo bu yu, bu shi yu ren" also meant "what u don't want others to do to u, don't do it to others"
